Land’s End to John o’ Groats is the traversal of the whole length of the island of Great Britain between it’s most north easterly and south westerly points.. The traditional distance by road is 874 miles (1,407 km) and takes most cyclists ten to fourteen days.
The current record by conventional bicycle is 44 hours, 4 minutes and 20 seconds
Our intention is to complete the journey in a time of less than 7 days.

Date & Timelines
7 day group: 29 April 2012 – 5 May 2012
10 day group: 27 April 2012 – 6 May 2012
The participants of the cycle will be split into 2 groups: a 7-day group and a 10-day group. Faster cyclists will go into the 7-day group with slower cyclists, looking for a more scenic experience; will go into the 10-day group. The cyclists will be accompanied by a following car, which will carry luggage and equipment and a trained medical practitioner on standby.
